Awesome work on the rear muffler it had a whole on side so less power for me to drive. The price was right and didnt... take long just about 30 mins. Thank you i will be coming back for my other car soon.Went back 01/08/2024 for the 07 ford expedition, needed a appointment and the guy Andy very generous telling every detail of the problem and i had no clue of there were multiple leaks on the end of my exhaust manifold and the pipes haha so he replaced my Driver side exhaust manifold and the hardware that attached to the side engine both sides which was needed and he gave more welds so theres no more leaks anywhere plus he also gave me a better price than other places so i was happy with his work so the price is good under nine hundred so i paid no problem and my truck runs so smooth now. These guys are the best around! They did my flow masters at least 6 years ago. Today, my exhaust sounded funny. I... looked under my truck and saw my exhaust hanging. I called at 4 pm to ask about any availability for tomorrow (Saturday). He said to drop it off first thing in the morning. After we hung up, 10 minutes later I got a call back from Lou's. They asked me to bring my truck right in. Remind you, this was 4 pm. I brought it down and they welded my exhaust back on, free of charge! I was outta there by 5. I am so appreciative of these guys. Recently, I needed work done on my exhaust, which the dealer was going to replace for $1,500+; however, luckily, they... recommended Lou's.I called once I got home, and even over the phone they knew the issue and how easily it could be solved - for around $200. They scheduled an appointment ASAP so nothing would get worse, and I arrived no more than 30 mins later.They fixed the car in under an hour, showed me the process and explained what was going on throughout, saved me over a thousand dollars, and the car runs great now. I had brought my volkswagen cc in today, with what i thought was a massive exhaust leak... dropped it off at lou's... custom exhaust in lynn and he said he would take care of it. He let me know that it was not an exhaust leak but it was my turbocharger and it was faulty. Every other dealership said I would need a new turbocharger which would cost upwards of 3,000$ with parts and labor. He calls me back about 30 minutes later and told me not to pick my car up just yet, he told me he is researching the turbocharger and thinks it may be fixable. He ended up fixing it, and charged me an awesome price my car runs perfectly and he saved me a fortune! I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Lou's Custom Exhaust and I cannot express my disappointment... enough. Not only did I have to go back to the shop twice, but they still managed to get the exhaust system wrong both times!The incompetence displayed by the staff at Lou's Custom Exhaust is beyond alarming. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for their customers' needs is simply unacceptable. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional this place is and I would strongly advise anyone looking to have custom exhaust work done to look elsewhere.In conclusion, my experience at Lou's Custom Exhaust was very disappointing. Their inability to provide even the most basic level of service, ordering a cat back system and install it, has resulted in me being out of work for two days and 4 uber rides. All I gut form them is sorry we can order the right system the 3th time, unbelievably a custom shop that can't even order the right parts. Guy on phone was rude. Inquired about installing an exhaust on my car if I brought in the exhaust and was willing defer... on the warranty and just pay for labor but was refused. Don’t see what’s so hard if it is a brand new in box exhaust andI just want to be charged forLabor and I’m not worried about there warranty.. Had a gasket fail on my stock Ram, this caused the exhaust to leak and wouldn't pass inspection. Contacted Ram although... my truck is covered under its warranty they couldn't fit me in till the end of January. Walked into Lous today on my lunch break hoping I can get my truck fixed by the end of the week. Nope I was completely shocked and suprised, they pulled my truck in put it on the lift and gave me some satisfying options. I choose to have a repair and muffler done.(I wanted a better sounding exhaust). I asked the manager when I can come back for the repairs and upgrade, at this time I'm stoked about the reasonable price but when he responded, do you want to wait an hour? I have been a Lous customer since my days when I was in the import scene. We mostly dealt with the Revere location at... the time. Today I needed some repair work on the exhaust of my daily driver. Right away I was greeted and asked what the issue was. Lucky for me it was not that busy and my car was brought in and looked at. The best thing about the place is that I was presented with options with zero pressure. I decided on what was best for me and proceeded with the repair. One thing I took note to is how clean the shop is inside and out (look at the photos). I was observing the guys working on the cars assigned to them and they where all taking note and making sure their work is lined up perfectly before welding the part in. I'm glad I came here as I also took note from other customer reviews. Best of all is that it's in my city not far from anywhere around here.read more

andy the manager is a good guy as well as the technician who did the repair. i was treated well, respectfully, and... professionally. everything was explained to me and shown to me. the exhaust pipe leading to the muffler rusted out. they custom fit a section of the pipe with stainless steel and a new hanger and took care of the joints. the price was fair and reasonable. i was in and out very quickly. i wouldn't hesitate to go here again and would highly recommend.read more
